10 THINGS to think about

Trying something a tad new for the newsletter today - wanted to share 10 quick things I’ve been thinking about this week that I think you can benefit from:

I want to know which one resonates with you the most.

  1. Being kind and looking for the “good” is the ultimate strength and worth aspiring to. ❤️

  2. Respect your “art” (acting, jokes, business, parenting, actual art) more than your friends’ opinions on it. 💡

  3. The “fuck up” is better than the debate...aka just DO shit. Pondering, debating, talking yourself out of it isn’t as productive as many think. ☑️

  4. Ego is insecurity with makeup on. Do not confuse confidence with ego. 👎🏻

  5. Being your own biggest fan is everything...but it's also about respecting the market. Once you cross that chasm for self esteem, you don't give a fuck. Confidence without delusion is 🔑

  6. It's so fun to be a marathon runner in a world full of sprinters. 🏃‍♂️💨

  7. You didn't "fail"...you had a minor fucking setback. Life isn't so permanent. Enough of the "fail" shit.💡

  8. It doesn't have to be "lonely at the top" IF you bring people along with you. One of the greatest joys is the collateral impact your success has on the people around you. 🤝

  9. You don't need to be extroverted or high-energy to put yourself out there online. There's no "one size fits all" to this. The real key is self-awareness around what type of communicator you are. 🔑

  10. Don't do what I do. Do what YOU do ☑️

Having a legacy is one thing. What you do with that legacy is another thing.

If I can achieve making self awareness, patience, gratitude, and empathy “cool” characteristics as an “alpha male,” I might have a real fucking at-bat - and I have that audacity.

So, having “influence,” or “legacy,” or “coolness” is great...but I think everyone reading this right now should stop and ask themselves a question. What is it that you want to do with that coolness? How are you leveraging your attention in a way that builds something important to you and beneficial to the world?
